The history of the jewelry
The Celts incorporated braiding and knotwork into the design of their crafts, symbolizing the continuity of life through intricate patterns of spirals and knots. These knot works were derived from tartan fabrics and basket weaving techniques, often depicted as complex designs in carvings on stone crosses in England and Ireland.
