Russian Fabergé egg earrings with blue enamel and pearl

  • $59.99

The history of jewelry

The Fabergé egg earrings, which were created by imperial court jeweler Carl Fabergé and his artisans in the late 19th to early 20th century. Not only were these eggs made for the Russian nobility, but also for European elite and Fabergé's own shops.

In 1886, Fabergé was given an annual commission by Czar Alexander III to produce eggs for the Imperial family. These eggs were intricately designed and crafted using materials such as gold, silver, enamel, precious stones, and semi-precious stones.

Our own brightly colored miniature egg earrings are inspired by these Fabergé creations.

The material used for these earrings is a combination of stone with blue enamel, pearl, and a gilded silver suspension.
