The Greco-Roman Black Onyx Necklace draws influence from the Etruscan designs of jewelry, crafted with semi-precious stones and annular gold bead spacers. The Etruscan civilization occupied central Italy from the 8th to the 5th centuries B.C. which contributed to their sophisticated artwork and architecture, alongside the unknown inscriptions of their language. This necklace has since garnered attention throughout the early 19th century, where European noblewomen would wear it to formal events.
Materials: black onyx, pewter beads with gold finish, lobster claw closure
