The history of the jewelry

Thor's Hammer pendant from Vaalse on Falster in Denmark, is a replica of an artifact from the Viking Age found in a large silver hoard at on Falster. The illustration is based on a copy found in the book "Nordic Antiquities" by J.J. Warsaw. The hammer was believed to belong to Odin's son, Thor, and was used in battles against Giants. According to legend, it always hit its target and returned to Thor.
