The history of the jewelry

The pendant from the 10th century depicts the thunder god Thor with his hammer, which he used in battles against Giants. According to legend, the hammer always hit its target and returned to Thor. The artifact was found in Akureyri, Iceland and the original is now housed at the National Museum in Reykjavik, Iceland.
