This pendant is a silver copy of a Viking ax from the 10th century was found in a nobleman's grave, Bjerringhøj, in Mammen near Viborg in Denmark. The original artifact is now housed at the National Museum in Copenhagen, Denmark. The ax was a common weapon and tool for the Vikings and is an important artifact for understanding their daily life and culture.
