The history of the Jewelry

These pieces of earrings reflects the ancient Egyptians' fondness for the colors blue and gold. In Egyptian culture, gold was considered a sacred metal due to its unchanging luster and association with the life-giving rays of the sun. Lapis lazuli, known for its deep blue color and flecks of gold (iron pyrite), was also highly valued and considered a sacred stone of divine origin symbolizing truth. Regalia made of gold and lapis were thought to place the wearer under the protection of the sun and heaven.
