The history of the Jewelry

This pendant is rooted in the tradition of miniature Russian eggs from the beginning of the 20th century.

These eggs were symbols of resurrection and were commonly exchanged during Easter, the most important holy festival of the year.

The tradition was made famous by Carl Fabergé, and miniature eggs were among the most popular items sold in his shops.

Note the tiny anchors that adorn the silver ribs on the egg, which symbolize St. Petersburg, the location of the Russian fleet.

Material: The egg is made of blue enamel and features ribs in sterling silver with crystals.
